What better way to learn about herbal medicine than immersing yourself in it for a whole week? Not only will you learn lots of herbal skills, you will also leave with your own herbal first aid kit. Amazing new location!
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?
From Wednesday to Sunday we’ll be covering the following topics:
How to safely treat friends and family
Creating infused oils and balms
Hydrosols and distilling
Cream making
Harvesting and growing herbs
Creating a herbal first aid kit
Herb walks and plant identification
Tincture making
There will also be plenty of time to explore Elder Farm and the surrounding countryside.
WHERE?
The course takes place at the new location of Elder Farm in Prescott, Devon
ACCOMMODATION
Local campsites and Airbnb available for suitable accommodation.
FOOD
We will be providing a wonderful organic and locally produced vegan lunch (with a vegetarian option) each day.

The Betonica medical herbalist training programme is a four year course combining traditional knowledge and modern science.
The main aim of the course is to create an alternative learning experience in herbal medicine, combining community, sustainability and organic principles.
This four year diploma programme (on completion of the final clinical exam), will allow you to practice as a medical herbalist with full insurance and the ability to join a professional association* (if you so wish).
